Residence Hall

To embrace the accomplishments of women in the 19th and 20th century, each Galstanberry Residence Hall was creatively renamed after women who were the first in a field.

Albright: Madeline Albright, the first woman Secretary of State of the US.

Morrison: Toni Morrison, the first African-American to win a Nobel Prize in Literature.

Blackwell: Elizabeth Blackwell, the first woman to receive an MD degree in the US.
